The Fabri-Kal Foundation was established in 1969 with the mission of furthering the cultural diversity of the locations in which Fabri-Kal operates and, since 1994, the granting of higher-education assistance to the children of Fabri-Kal employees. Through 2009, the Fabri-Kal Foundation has donated over $7.3 million to these cultural and educational causes. Young adult children of every Fabri-Kal employee are offered generous higher-education tuition assistance and to date over 150 children have received $4.6 million collectively. The other $2.7 million has benefited the communities in which Fabri-Kal employees live and work. A partial list of recent charitable contributions is noted below. For grant consideration, organizations must operate in an area occupied by a Fabri-Kal location and submit written request and campaign documentation to R.P. Kittredge. The Fabri-Kal Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, nongovernmental organization.
